Science Teacher Training is to train teachers who have developed positive attitudes towards the primary goal teaching in the United States and have professional skills in their field. It is expected that graduates of this program will be able to demonstrate a model towards their students in terms of personal and professional life, follow the innovations related to their field of professional development and have effective communication skills. In addition, the program aims to train teachers who understand how students will learn, who are confident about using technology, who have problem solving ability, who attach importance to human rights, democracy and ethics. The program also emphasizes critical thinking, personal reflection and professional development of teaching candidates. Science Education Teacher Training is offered at undergraduate level and those who complete the program can take charge as teachers in primary education.
